Der NTS-4000 ist eine IEEE1588 Grandmaster-Uhr, ein NTP Stratum1-Zeitserver und eine PRTC-A-Uhr der Netzwerkklasse. Die Standardversion unterstützt HQ OCXO Holdover. LAN1-2 unterstützt 1x 100 Mb/s RJ45 und 2x 1 Gb/s SFP. Eine zusätzliche 2x 1 Gb/s SFP-Option ist auf der Rückseite verfügbar. Die Netzwerkkarte verfügt über einen eigenen privaten PTP Stack, der in einem privaten FPGA gespeichert ist. Dieser Ansatz gewährleistet beste Cybersicherheit und eine hohe Stabilität der Synchronisation. Der Server unterstützt zwei redundante GNSS-Empfänger und zwei redundante Netzteile. Die Sync-E/A sind: PPS, 10 MHz, IRIG-B, ToD. Dieses Gerät eignet sich für die Unterstützung kritischer Infrastrukturen.
